Virginia Beach Public Art Discussion (Creative Conversations 2011)

In celebration of National Arts and Humanities month, join the City of Virginia Beach Office of Cultural Affairs for a roundtable discussion on how the City's public art program can grow in the future and possible ways to fund the program's expansion. This Creative Conversation is free and open to the public. Join us on Wednesday, October 5 from 5:00-6:30pm in the Wood Founders Room at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts for networking, food, drinks and discussion!

A panel of arts professionals including Karen Rudd, Norfolk's Cultural Affairs Manager; Bobby Melatti, Chair of the Virginia Beach Arts and Humanities Commission; Juanita Felton of the Arts and Humanities Commission and Emily Spruill Labows, Virginia Beach's Cultural Affairs Director will lead the discussion. Directions: The Sandler Center for the Performing Arts is located in the Town Center of Virginia Beach accessible via Exit 17 off I-264. Free public parking is available throughout Town Center. The Sandler Center entrance is located on the right side of the building at the box office. Take the elevators to the second floor and turn left to proceed into the Wood Founders Room.
