The Details

It's Not Scary to Be a Leader (Creative Conversations)
Leadership is not a top-down skill but can be exercised at all levels of an organization. This interactive workshop will discuss how anyone in an organization can recognize and develop his/her own leadership abilities. Participants are encouraged to submit their questions and concerns prior to the workshop (either through the Cincy Emerging Arts Leaders Facebook group or email to kriemenschneider@cincinnatiarts.org).

The workshop will be led by David Bright, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and International Business at the Raj Soin College of Business, Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He received a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior in 2005 from Case Western Reserve University. Previously, he attended Brigham Young University, where he received a bachelor and a dual master’s degree. David teaches in the areas of leadership, organizational behavior, and organizational development. He has twice been selected as department “Teacher of the Year.” His research and practice focuses on Appreciative Inquiry, virtue-based organizational change, and emergent organizing. His writing on these topics has appeared in over 20 publications.

There is no charge to participate in this Creative Conversation.
